His journey began with humble beginnings in Bengal and has since evolved into influential roles with FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation. He has spearheaded impactful initiatives across Asia, including rebuilding Afghan football, enhancing governance structures, and launching India’s Vision 2047 to revolutionize the sport.

As the AIFF Secretary General, he oversaw historic milestones such as India's national team triumphs (three back-to-back trophies and rise in India’s FIFA Rankings to 99), the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, and the restructuring of the women’s competitive league structure, including the launch of the flagship grassroots initiatives “Blue Cubs.” He is a strong advocate for sports education and introduced the CIES program in India, emphasizing the importance of education in sports management. Additionally, He is the founder and President of the Association for Sports Industry Professionals (ASIP).
